Yoga
“Yoga is so much more than physical postures…yoga is about how you live your day to day life, and how you treat yourself and others.”
Ondreya cherishes the relationships that she has built with her students, and takes pride in the inspiration and education that they offer her. She seeks to instill a deep appreciation for yoga in all its forms, in every person that practices with her. Ondreya believes that the practice of yoga can help create a better world for all.
Ondreya offers in person and virtual classes, for all bodies and abilities, and has been teaching for nearly 2 years. Her classes range from Hatha, to Gentle Yoga, and she is currently completing her prenatal and postnatal certification. Ondreya is always striving to improve as a student, and a teacher.
Background & Training
Ondreya has been a yoga student since she was a little girl. She remembers practicing asana (physical postures) with her aunt, and competing to see who could hold Vrikshasana (Tree Pose) the longest, at age 5. Growing up, her interest and love for yoga continued, and blossomed into the desire to become a teacher herself.
During the summer of 2020, the opportunity presented itself for Ondreya to enroll in MODO Yoga's second virtual teacher training, and she jumped on the opportunity. Through this training she received her 300 hour certification, and learned about what yoga really is, beyond physical postures. After a year of continued education through projects relating to the 8 pillars, she received her 500 hour certification. She later went on to complete her MODO calm certification, and has training in yin, breathwork, meditation, and restorative yoga.
